New video captures how ACI member companies’ products and chemistries connect with consumers and customers, at home, at school, and at work.
Washington, DC – Every day, cleaning product manufacturers and their suppliers enhance health and quality of life through products and chemistries that are a part of better living for society at-large.
Watch the new video from the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) which captures how ACI member companies’ products and chemistries connect with consumers and customers, at home, at school, and at work.
The video features comments from leading industry executives describing the positive contributions of the cleaning product supply chain.
“The consumer touches our products literally every single day,” says ACI Board member Ed Vlacich, President, National Brands & Canada and Chief Marketing Officer, The Sun Products Corporation. “Whether it’s cleaning their laundry, cleaning their home, cleaning their families, cleaning themselves, we have a chance to really see our products in use in everyday life.”
ACI Board Chair Tom O’Brien, Senior Vice President, Performance Chemicals, Sasol, notes that “what drives the industry to innovation is the consumer…giving them products that really become experiences.”
Adds ACI Board member Joy Atkinson, President, Body and Home Care, North America, Firmenich Inc.: “When you clean that baby blanket, you put a wonderful fabric conditioner with a wonderful fragrance in it and it’s soft, and it feels great, and it’s clean. You might smell that again, and it takes you back to a very loving, caring moment that you had.”
The American Cleaning Institute is in the midst of celebrating its 90th anniversary of representing the U.S. cleaning products supply chain, and is showcasing throughout the year how the association and the industry are contributing to better living through research, education and public outreach.
“The industry really has a drive and a passion to continue to help consumers’ lives be cleaner, safer, and more satisfying,” says Sasol’s Tom O’Brien.
