Remson, Rathey share leadership of IEHA as 30-year executive director Beth Risinger retires.

IEHA is pleased to announce the formal appointment of Mary L. Remson, MBA — leading member of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP); the American Institute of Parliamentarians (AIP), and the International Training in Communication (ITC) Organization – as Interim Executive Director of IEHA, effective September 1st, 2014. IEHA has also appointed Allen P. Rathey, president of The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI), as official IEHA liaison and consultant.
 
“We are pleased to have Ms. Remson’s vast administrative and business experience on tap as we chart IEHA’s path to excellence,” said IEHA President, Sherry Sidwell. “Allen Rathey, with his deep industry expertise, will work closely with Mary and our staff to help ensure effective collaboration benefitting both our members and the entire industry. We will have exciting updates to share at the upcoming ISSA/INTERCLEAN event in Orlando FL.”

Mary retired from the Ohio Department of Health as a fiscal officer in the implementation and administration of federal grants, and was previously employed with AT&T as a production line supervisor and Associate Industrial Engineer.  She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
