Aqueous ozone system now certified safe for use in wool carpet and rug care.

Omaha, NB – CleanCore® Technologies, manufacturers of aqueous ozone cleaning systems, announces the company has been approved and certified by the WoolSafe® Organization. 

Based in Great Britain, WoolSafe is a worldwide organization devoted to promoting best practices when it comes to wool carpet and rug care.  

The organization certifies products, chemicals, as well as carpet and rug cleaning technicians that meet specific standards and guidelines.  

CleanCore’s technology mechanically infuses cold water with ozone to create aqueous ozone, a natural and robust cleaning solution.  Along with being effective, ozonated water is viewed as a more “natural” cleaning agent because ozone is naturally found in the atmosphere. 

In order for CleanCore to be approved and earn WoolSafe certification, it had to be independently tested for use on wool carpets, rugs, and furnishing fabrics. 

Meeting the WoolSafe criteria indicates the following:

  • The product is safe and effective when used to clean wool fibers
  • The product should produce excellent cleaning results and reduce customer “call backs”
  • Users can be assured that the product, when used correctly, will not damage wool fibers
  • The product should help prevent color or dye bleeding, bleaching, or rapid soiling.
