ISE specializes in technician certification for professional cleaning companies

Chapel Hill, NC – July 17, 2013 – In 2010, David Kiser, Bruce Vance, Derek Christian, and Tom Stewart founded the Institute for Service Excellence (ISE) to raise the level of professionalism within the residential cleaning industry. ISE’s first and primary mission was to write the curriculum for and serve as the first school to offer IICRC’s ground-breaking House Cleaning Technician (HCT) certification program; today, ISE remains the only school to offer HCT certification.

Since ISE’s founding, several additional programs have been developed by the team for the cleaning industry, including three programs for growing and managing a business: Foundations of Business, Culture Circus, and Market Strategy and Planning. ISE’s partners believe that while all of these programs play an important role in supporting the interests of industry stakeholders, the HCT certification program is unique and should remain the primary focus of the Institute for Service Excellence.

For all of these programs to reach their full potential, the four partners are spinning off all non-HCT programs into a new business coaching group Cleaning Business Builders: Foundations of Business, Culture Circus, Market Strategy and Planning, and more.  Joined by Liz Trotter of American Maid Cleaning, Derek Christian and Tom Stewart are expected to make a launch announcement, including a special event, in the near future.
