CBT is conducting a survey for professional-grade vacuums recommended for residential cleaning services; deadline is September 15th.

For our upcoming Making Changes issue in October, CBT is conducting its first survey of professional vacuums for use in residential cleaning.

CBT invites manufacturers of professional vacuum equipment to submit basic and enhanced information about select products using the standardized survey accompanying this CFP. Specifically, each participating manufacturer has the opportunity to highlight its “best-selling” or “most recommended” model in each of four categories: upright, canister, backpack, hand-held.

The survey results submitted will be shaped into a report similar to that of our 2014 User Experience and Software Report, published in June. The report may include expert commentary on vacuum selection in addition to the survey results.

Information categories have been developed with the assistance of documentation from the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) and the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

For this survey, CBT asks you to consider residential cleaning services as your target customer and to base all responses and graphic supplements on the standard packages you offer; a focus on commercial/janitorial options may be developed in the future. Based on your responses, we may also request an interview for further clarification.
