BSCAI past-president and Maintenance, Inc. CEO Sally Schopmeyer was honored with the James E. Purcell Leadership Award at the 2013 BSCAI Convention.

This prestigious award presented each year by BSCAI is given in recognition of long-time service to the Association and the building service contracting industry. The previous year’s BSCAI President is honored with this award.

Maintenance, Inc., and its subsidiaries provide janitorial service for commercial offices, medical facilities, industrial plants, owner-occupied facilities and shopping centers in Texas, Florida, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina and Alabama.

Sally started with Maintenance, Inc., in 1990. Since that time, she has served as Vice President of Business Development, Executive Vice President, and has served as President since 1999. Sally is currently on the Advisory Board of the Dallas Children’s Theater and has served two three-year terms on the Board of Trustees. She is active in her church, local Chamber of Commerce and is secretary of her children’s school board.

Sally and her husband, Doug, have been married for twelve years and have three children – Emily, 13; Matthew, 11; and Leslie, 9. Sally’s interests include outdoor activities and spending time with her family at their lake house.
