If you registered for the ISSA 2020 Virtual Show, you might have been a little overwhelmed by the sheer number of talks and presentations. I know I was. I didn’t know where to start. This article is intended to act as a taste of the actual presentation. Taking an hour out of your day to watch a video might not sound like a good use of your time as a business owner. So, by the time you read this, you might decide for yourself if you want the full experience. If you weren’t sure if you wanted to attend the virtual show itself, then this article will serve as a way for you to definitively decide. Many of the presentations and products on display will be available until March 31st, 2021.

This presentation was given by Alonzo Adams by CEO of Busy Bee Cleaning Company and a former President if ARCSI.  In this talk, Alonzo discusses how one can think and grow rich.

At the beginning of the talk, Alonzo shared some statistics that showed how people viewed the wealthy versus the poor. It said that 65% of people thought a person was rich because they have had more advantages in like than most other people, while 33% said they simply worked harder than others. 71% of people said poor folks were so because they have faced more obstacles in life than most other people. 26% believe this to be because they have not worked as hard as most other people.

Alonzo went on to bring up a quote from John Jacob Astor in which he said, “Wealth is largely the result of habit”. A few examples of rich habits include eating healthy, go to bed early and rise early, value time over everything, never stop learning, exercise, network, keeping track of money, avoid TV & Social Media.   All of these practices allow you to be a better version of yourself.
