Prevent heat-related illness with this free app.
As the temperatures rise into the summer months, the heat, humidity and resulting heat index play a role in determining work-site safety and the use of heat-related safety precautions.
The OSHA Heat Safety App, available for both Android and iPhone, assists employers in determining risk levels each day so that they can implement relevant safety precautions, such as reminders about drinking enough fluids, scheduling rest breaks, adjusting work operations, training on heat illness signs and symptoms, and more.
The Heat Safety App is available in English and Spanish.
