On April 28, 2015, OSHA published its updated “It’s the Law” poster, which outlines Workers’ Rights and Employers’ Responsibilities.
For industries where employees do not necessarily report daily to a static location – such as in the cleaning industry – employers are required to post this document at the central headquarters of the business and in all secondary/satellite “hubs” or offices where employees may secure supplies, instructions, and/or compensation. This includes home-based offices.
The poster is available in seven different languages.
OSHA provides employers with the poster for free on their website. Simply download and print. Be sure to observe poster size (legal page size 8.5 x 14) and font size requirements, which means employers may need to print the poster off site.
