Singapore maid agencies must meet new quality measures from consumers and the government to renew licenses.

Beginning December 2017, the new Trustmark maid agency grading system will be in place in Singapore. The program is initiated by the Consumers Association of Singapore (Case) and the Ministry of Manpower. Agencies will not be able to renew their licenses without achieving an acceptable grade. The consumer-facing feedback mechanism will begin testing in June 2016. It appears this system may be similar to consumer and employer use of review sites in Western countries, but with a government regulated component and licensure added.
