Aussie company hit with massive payout judgement
The United States is not the only place dealing with controversy about the status of employees vs independent contractors. Oaks Hotels and Resorts, an Australian hotel chain has been ordered to pay almost $2Million to 1500 cleaners, after improperly classifying them as independent contractors.
