Originally launched as a home cleaning service, Homejoy is rolling two new services out of beta in the Bay Area and San Jose.
Two-year-old virtual maid service Homejoy aims to keep up with the competition (like Handy) by adding carpet cleaning and general handyman services to their menu. Consumers use a website or mobile app to order maid services from independent contractors and service businesses registered with the Homejoy domestic referral agency platfom.
