"Full Time" Redefined by ACA

Congress considers legislation to counter 30-hour definition
It appears that the Affordable Care Act has redefined “full time” as working at least 30 hours a week, contrary to the previously held 40 hours per week. A bipartisan bill is under consideration to formalize the 40-hour week as the full-time employee standard. Read more.
