Here’s everything you need to know about the changes to the ISSA Show 2020 North America, in summary.
Due to the Corona Virus pandemic, the ISSA Show North America 2020 has changed its location to Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Why Nevada? The ISSA believes Las Vegas has proven itself in keeping a rigorous system in place for keeping convention goers safe.
But how are they doing this?
The ISSA Show North America will be organizing under the standards and rules of Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standards. Informa is the world’s leading event organizer and has developed an elaborate set of measures to ensure the highest level of hygiene and safety for its events.
According to the ISSA and Informa, “You can expect to see that health and safety is a priority this November and that a range of measures are in place to ensure everyone involved is able to enjoy a safe, hygienic, productive and high-quality organized event experience.”
They are planning to share their AllSecure Plan once it has been properly vetted and approved by health officials.
To make sure everything is up to superior standards, the ISSA will be implementing the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association’s GBAC(Global Biorisk Advisory Council) Star accreditation program. This will allow Informa, and therefore the ISSA, to seek external validation that an event is up to the standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and bio-risk according to the GBAC.
Overall, the ISSA wants all convention goers to be confident that they will keep you safe through their various precautions.
