Following the announcement of the “pause” of its Canadian operations on Sunday, December 14, Homejoy has now announced the “pause” of its operations in France.

Suspicions are mounting that these “pauses” – as yet an undefined business move – are the result of new competition entering and being adopted by consumers in these markets, namely German-based Helpling and French-based Hassle.

Homejoy has recently refocused its European operations in Germany, specifically Berlin and Munich, and is also active in London.
