The White House is giving a last review to regulations requiring that federal contractors pay their workers at least $10.10 an hour, according to records kept by the Office of Management and Budget.
A notice posted Monday on the OMB’s website shows that the final rule moved from the Labor Department on Friday to the White House’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), where it will undergo consideration before it is formally issued.
The agency has said a rule would be issued by Oct. 1, and it appears to be on track to meet the deadline.
