For the 10th year, ARCSI partners with ISSA for the industry’s largest trade show.

Earlier this month the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) released a study titled
“Generational Differences in Face-to-Face Interaction Preferences and Activities.”
The study surveyed more than 9,000 attendees and 800 exhibitors. Not surprisingly, it found that professionals in all age groups value face-to-face meetings, and mostly for the same reasons.  Trade shows ranked it as the No. 1 way to interact.  The top five reasons for attending were:

1.  Networking with colleagues

2.  Gaining insights on industry trends

3.  Looking for new products

4.  Seeing and talking with current vendors

5.  Looking for new vendors

All five are top priorities at the 2013 ARCSI Convention and Education Conference. Veteran ARCSI convention attendees will tell you that the face-to-face networking with other industry professionals is the most valuable part of their convention experience. From the networking at the ARCSI booth on the show floor, to our scheduled evening events, to casual conversations in the Members Lounge, the ARCSI convention is designed to help you maximize your networking opportunities.  For the 10th year, ARCSI will partner with ISSA to provide our convention attendees access to the industry’s largest trade show, featuring over 700 vendors on the show floor.  In addition, both old and new ARCSI Industry Partners will be available to members at special ARCSI events  in our “Members Lounge” in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Our convention committee, chaired by Angela Wilson of Solano Maids, has put together over 25 hours of educational programming with a combination of nationally-known speakers and industry experts. Topics will cover a wide range and will be geared to all sizes and experience levels.  Marketing, Employee Hiring, Operational Systems, Customer Service, Strategic Planning and Your Vision for Your Business, Conflict Resolution and more will be presented to provide our convention attendees with valuable takeaways, to help them take their businesses to the next level.

Finally, our convention week activities will be capped off with our gala Presidents’ Reception and Awards Presentations on Wednesday evening.  ARCSI will recognize the Professional Cleaner of the Year, the New Cleaning Business of the Year (sponsored by Rags to Riches) and the ARCSI President’s Award (sponsored by Moody Insurance Worldwide). Additionally, we will present our Image Awards in six categories including Best Website, Best Vehicle Graphics, Best Uniform, Best Marketing Plan, Best Newsletter, and Best Logo.
