As of 2026, certifications for house cleaning and maid service technicians and businesses include the following:
- House Cleaning Technician certification – the only internationally recognized professional certification for individuals – offered through IICRC
- Professional House Cleaning certification – offered through ISSA Residential
- CIMS – the only certification recognizing a business for its professional management practices – offered through IICRC
