Donald J. Davidshofer, a long-time industry veteran, has just been hired as a new product manager for Powr-Flite, a leading manufacturer of professional cleaning tools and equipment.
Donald J. Davidshofer, a long-time industry veteran, has just been hired as a new product manager for Powr-Flite, a leading manufacturer of professional cleaning tools and equipment.
His focus will be on the company’s many professional vacuum cleaners, dryers (air movers), cleaning chemicals and solutions, and self-contained carpet extractors.
Davidshofer has held several positions with Electrolux Homecare Products as well as The Eureka Company, manufacturers of vacuum cleaners for residential and professional use.
Along the way, he has also developed a number of products and components for vacuum cleaners, for which he has secured 15 U.S. Government Patents. Further, Davidshofer developed a working prototype for a single-serve coffee machine, helping Electrolux enter that multi-billion dollar industry.
His talents have also been effective at reducing manufacturing costs. As an example, he helped one vacuum cleaner manufacturer reduce their production of a canister vacuum cleaner by a significant 23 percent.
