New tool for job seekers and employers set to roll out in the next few weeks
Google is set to launch a jobs search engine in the US in the coming weeks. CEO Sundar Pichai gave a glimpse of the new tool in the company’s recent developers conference, I/O. Job seekers will be able to filter their employment search by category, location, commute time, etc. Google itself will be “learning on the job” as the technology leverages “machine learning” to target job search phrases for more relevance. Initially the company plans to partner with LinkedIn, Facebook, Glassdoor and other services.
