Event offers cleaning professionals an opportunity to network and learn during a week on the high seas.

Westerville, OH —  The International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA), a leading non-profit organization providing education and resources to individuals who manage professional cleaning operations, today announced it will host its inaugural Education and Leadership Cruise on April 15-22, 2017. The seven-day Royal Caribbean cruise will include more than eight hours of seminars and education for continuing education unit (CEU) credit. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in IEHA’s Education Boot Camp and test to earn their Certification.

“You can think of this as a mini-convention on a cruise ship,” said Michael Patterson, MREH, IEHA President. “It’s a great opportunity for cleaning professionals to network and learn, while having a little fun in the process. All of our education will take place while the boat is cruising, so participants will have plenty of time to relax and explore when the boat is docked at various locations throughout the South Caribbean.”

The cruise will take off from San Juan, Puerto Rico and stop in St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Curacao and Aruba before returning to port in San Juan. Various pricing packages are available based on the location of the room and number of beds. Cruise packages include entry to IEHA educational sessions and networking events. Participation in the Professional Education Credentialing Program (PECP) is an additional cost. An initial $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot on the ship.
