In its first 50 years serving building service contractors, BSCAI has grown from from a mere 60 members to over 1000 member companies from 16 countries.
The Hilton Orlando Hotel and Orange County Convention Center of Orlando, Florida were home to the 2014 BSCAI Annual Convention that took place November 6-8. With more than 500 attendees, BSCAI wrapped up a successful conference that provided attendees with fresh ideas, new strategies, and professional contacts designed to have a lasting and meaningful impact on their businesses. This year’s successful event is just another reason why BSCAI continues to be the business resource for contractors.

A Few of the Conference Highlights Included:

  • Collaboration with ISSA/INTERCLEAN, including keynote speaker Rick Pitino
  • Summer Sanders, Olympic Swimmer, Closing Keynote
  • Inaugural CLEAN Awards Luncheon

Overall, the Hilton Orlando Hotel and Orange County Convention Center were filled with BSCs looking to connect, learn and expand their product and services to meet the challenges of today’s market place. BSCAI was proud to host this annual event in 2014 and will once again be partnering with ISSA for the 2015 event. Mark your calendars now and plan to join BSCAI in 2015 at the Bellagio Hotel and Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 22-24.

Looking Ahead While Celebrating a Meaningful Milestone

This year BSCAI is celebrating its 50th anniversary. In March 1965, more than 60 charter members came to Washington, D.C., for the first Annual Meeting officially forming the organization that would become the Building Service Contractors Association International. Over the past 50 years, BSCAI has been dedicated to the advancement and growth of the BSC, representing a worldwide network of more than 1,000 member companies from across the United States and 15 countries worldwide.

Throughout 2015, BSCAI will continue to focus on the importance of the attendee experience and continue to deliver events that are designed by BSCs, for BSCs.  BSCAI will host the Executive Management Conference this spring, formerly known as the BSCAI Executive Seminar.

The BSCAI Executive Seminar officially changed its name late last year to the Executive Management Conference to emphasize the gathering of management teams and leaders and to focus the content on being a resource for strengthening managers and providing leadership development for their key personnel.

This event will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona at the FireSky Resort & Spa from May 14-16, and will provide success-driven education ranging from creating balance on the workplace to industry-expert insight into more profitable sales, improvements in forecasting and increasing profitability. The Executive Management Conference is the perfect setting for BSCAI members to spend time together learning and planning to advance their companies to the next level.
