David and his wife, Carrie, started Champagne Services 30 years ago in Northern Virginia. One of the largest businesses of its kind in the country, Champagne Services is recognized as an industry leader. David served as the first president and founding member of the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International (ARCSI). Champagne Services was also the first residential cleaning service to join the ranks of the highly esteemed Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI). David carries the ISSA Certification Expert designation to assist companies in becoming ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) compliant. After serving as ARCSI president, David became chair of the ARCSI Certification Committee. Teaming with the Institute of Inspection Cleaning, Restoration and Certification (IICRC), he spearheaded the effort to provide an accredited certification program for professional housecleaning technicians. He served as chair for more than two years.
Bruce is a 1971 graduate of Duke University with a major in Mathematics. He co-founded Town & Country Services in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with his wife Sarah in 1991. They have grown from a two-person team to more than 30 employees and roughly 200 residential clients. Their motto is “Excellence supported by education.” Their mission is to help clients maintain the value, appearance, enjoyment and the all-round health of their homes. Bruce holds the IICRC Master Textile Cleaner designations as well as certifications in Hard Floors, Tile and Stone, Leather, and Applied Microbial Remediation. He writes the “Tech Corner” column for the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International’s newsletter.
